Feminist poet, activist and editor ROBIN MORGAN was born in Lake Worth, Florida. Morgan had her own radio program as a young child in the 40s, and played Dagmar in the 50s TV series “I Remember Mama.” She worked in the civil rights, antiwar and feminist movements in the 1950s through 1970s, came out as a lesbian in the 60s, and helped revive Ms. Magazine in 1990. In 2006 Nation Books published her most recent book, Fighting Words: A Tool Kit for Combating the Religious Right.
