The U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals strikes down Georgia’s sodomy laws as unconstitutional. The ruling is overturned the following year by the Supreme Court in the case of BOWERS V. HARDWICK. 

It is critical, now, to stay tuned and pay attention to this and other newly secured LGBTQ+ rights which are undoubtedly in the crosshairs of the radical religious right now that they are notching their bedposts with an overturn of Roe v Wade. Do not think for an instant that our rights aren’t next on the agenda.
