LIBERACE died on this date (b: 1919). American extravagant piano player and entertainer, born in West Allis, Wisconsin as Wladziu Valentino Liberace. In 1978 The Liberace Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada, was opened. His last performance was at Radio City Music Hall, New York, on November 2, 1986. I was his press agent for that show. Liberace died in Palm Springs, California, of AIDS. Oh…he was Gay. But you knew that. Didn‘t everyone?
